Can you see Transport Layer Security below SMTP Port? If no, the camera does not support gmail as sender.

Some email cannot be sender and receiver at the same time. So, maybe you can change receiver to your gmail.
Mostly the SMTP Port is 25, it's up to the sender mail.

I should have said with Gmail. I can't speak for Centurylink. I just tested Gmail with 25/STARTTLS. It doesn't work. I submit, then test, then see
